Rene 41 foil is a nickel-based superalloy known for its carefully balanced composition, featuring nickel, chromium (around 18–20%), cobalt (10–12%), and molybdenum (9–10.5%), along with aluminum and titanium for precipitation hardening, plus trace elements that boost performance at elevated temperatures. Mechanically, it showcases impressive tensile and yield strength, remarkable creep and fatigue resistance, and good elongation, maintaining its strength even in extreme thermal conditions up to about 980 °C. Its high-temperature strength, oxidation resistance, and stability under stress make it a top choice for critical applications.
