Monel K500 Flanges are crafted from a nickel-copper alloy that gains strength from the addition of aluminum and titanium. This alloy typically consists of about sixty-three percent nickel, with copper making up the balance, along with carefully controlled amounts of aluminum, titanium, iron, and manganese. This unique composition allows for precipitation hardening, resulting in significantly enhanced tensile and yield strength compared to standard Monel.
